Jaideep Ahlawat has enthralled the audience with his stellar performances in films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Commando: A One Man Army, Raazi among many others. At the same time, his most favorite screen outing is that of Hathiram Chaudhary of Anushka Sharma's web series Paatal Lok. The first season of this crime-thriller series was released in 2020. Since then fans are eagerly waiting for season 2 of the show. Now in a special conversation with Pinkvilla, Jaideep Ahlawat has shared an exciting update on Paatal Lok Season 2.

Jaideep Ahlawat shared that the filming for the second season will begin in November. He said, “It is happening and we are just 10 days away (from the shoot). So Paatal Lok Season 2 is starting, we have finished shooting for Devotion (Sujoy Ghosh's The Devotion of Suspect X). Then there is another film releasing on 2nd December - An Action Hero - starring Ayushmann (Khurana) brothers and I, produced by Aanand L Rai sir and T-Series. Directed by Anirudh Iyer. He has made a beautiful film."

He further added, "Now four months, four-and-a-half months, in Paatal Lok heels will be rugged. It is a heavy subject and the beauty with which it has been written, I will try my best to bring it to the audience with the same honesty. In a recent interview to Hindustan Times, Jaideep Ahlawat had said about the script, "I firmly believe that no matter how good an actor is, nothing can replace a bad script. It is a misconception, that the actor can overcome it. Of course we can draw stories that are not strong but they also have their limits. But a really bad script can't be driven crazy in The Godfather. it's not possible."
