Belinda, Regina Blandón, Diana Bovio, Luis Gerardo Méndez, and Mariana Treviño are the actors who will tell us a series of "Lies" thanks to Prime Video. This story has doses of love, drama, comedy, cynicism, and satire that will make viewers enjoy everything that happens here from beginning to end.

The series is based on a musical theater work created by José Manuel López Velarde. The story has been adapted for television, allowing audiences—internationally—to enjoy something that has been part of Mexican culture and entertainment for many years.

Now, what will the public be able to see in this production? To begin with, they will meet Daniela, Dulce, Yuri, and Lupita. Four women who are very different from each other, from their ways to their surroundings, but who have more in common than they might believe: all four fell in love with the same man, Emmanuel Mijares.

The drama will begin after four phone calls. Emmanuel died, and one of them is the culprit. For some reason, which we will probably discover throughout the eight episodes of this series, Daniela, Dulce, Yuri, and Lupita will be summoned to a mysterious mansion owned by Mijares, where they must stay together for 12 hours until they discover who among them killed the man who cheated on them. Because, indeed, Emmanuel is an unfaithful man!

After watching two of the eight episodes, I can't deny that I'm plagued by doubt, and I have a feeling that Emmanuel "wasn't dead, he was out partying."

And the music, some might ask; Well, there's no need to worry; this series has tons of music, and each song appears at just the right moment without seeming pretentious or unnecessary. Songs like "He Lied to Me," "My Friend," "The Ideal Couple," "Moving," "Sorry, My Love," and more.
