Alfredo Adame declares himself polyamorous: I have four girlfriends and all se know each other
The actor alfredo adame, revealed previously unpublished details of his personal life in an interview for the program Todo para la Mujer by Maxine Woodside
The Mexican actor and host Alfredo Adame caused surprise by publicly revealing that he practices polyamory, a non-monogamous relational lifestyle based on honesty agreements between all parties involved.
During an interview on the program 'Todo para la Mujer con Maxine Woodside', which he attended accompanied by one of his partners, Marcela Iglesias, Adame explained that approximately six years ago, after his divorce, he decided to explore this way of relating.
The actor assured that he currently maintains an open and consensual relationship with four women, who, according to him, know each other.
Difference between polyamory and infidelity, according to Adame
One of the points that the host also emphasized the most was the crucial difference that exists, from his perspective, between polyamory and infidelity. Adame argued that the foundation of his relationships is transparency and the consent of all involved, something that, in his opinion, makes them healthy and ethical.
“There is a big difference between infidelity and polyamory. Infidelity exists; the negative cause is that you are not being honest with your partner… and polyamory is consensual,” he pointed out.
Adame shared an example of how this dynamic arose in his life. He recounted that when he met one of his partners, he didn't know she was married. Upon discovering this, it was the same woman who explained to him that her marriage was based on a polyamorous agreement, which led him to understand and eventually adopt this lifestyle.
“When I met her, I didn’t know she was married… she told me: 'yes, I am married and our relationship is like this, it’s polyamorous,'” he shared.
As is characteristic of Alfredo Adame, he was proud of his lifestyle and defended it as a practice that always includes honesty. “I actually see absolutely nothing wrong with the way I see things,” he expressed.
