The public will be able to enjoy the film “Backrooms” once again in movie theaters in the United States. According to A24, the film directed by Kane Parsons will return to theaters during the July 4 weekend with a special edition that will include additional content.
The new version will be titled “Backrooms: Everything Must Go Edition” and will make available to the audience an extra 15 minutes of never-before-seen material, reaching a total duration of 2 hours and 6 minutes.
The announcement was released through the AMC Theaters website, which detailed that the extended edition of “Backrooms” will also include an exclusive scene located after the credits, created by director Kane Parsons.
It will be next July 3 when the public will be able to enjoy this new edition in all movie theaters in the United States, anticipating a good reception at the box office.
And we cannot forget that since its premiere in May of this year, “Backrooms” has raised more than $330 million dollars worldwide.
These figures made it the highest-grossing film in the history of the independent studio A24, as well as one of the most profitable releases of the year within a selection that includes “Michael” and “The Devil Wears Prada 2.”
The story that captivated the entire world is directed by Kane Parsons and follows a furniture store operator, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, who discovers an infinite series of empty spaces in the basement of the department store where he works.
