Ahead of his upcoming performances at the GNP stadium in Mexico City, the singer Bad Bunny decided to show his support for one of the most emblematic spectacles of that country: Lucha Libre. And it was after his arrival in Mexico that the Puerto Rican star made a "covert" appearance at a wrestling show, a sport that combines acrobatic athleticism with theatrical and folkloric elements. It was during the evening of December 9th that Arena Mexico was graced by the artist's visit, who initially tried to go unnoticed by using one of the characteristic wrestling masks to conceal his identity. However, the extensive security deployment and confirmation from the World Wrestling Council (CMLL) revealed the presence of the so-called "Bad Bunny" to more than 16,000 people enjoying the show. Hours later, the official CMLL account shared a message mentioning the Puerto Rican's visit, emphasizing the appreciation he has shown for the sport on more than one occasion. "I should have taken more pictures! The multi-award-winning Bad Bunny “Bunny experienced the best Lucha Libre match in the world up close, thrilling with every fall and every hold… And wearing none other than the mask of the King of Silver and Gold, Mistico,” reads the beginning of the post shared on Facebook and Instagram. “A unique evening that confirms the magic of Arena Mexico captivates the world,” it highlights alongside a photograph showing Bad Bunny and his group of friends attentively watching the wrestling spectacle. This sighting comes just hours before the performer of “NUEVAYoL” kicks off his series of 8 concerts in Mexico as part of his DtMF World Tour 2025, for more than 65,000 people per night at the GNP Seguros Stadium. The famous artist will have the Mexican public singing and dancing on December 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 19, 20 and 21 in a show that will include the famous "Casita", which serves as a second stage to stay close to his fans.
