The album’s promotion has been intense and multifaceted. Cardi has already released singles like “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz,” the latter featuring an iconic sample of Jay-Z’s 1997 “Imaginary Players,” showcasing her knack for blending nostalgia with innovation.
She also surprised fans with a whirlwind performance in New York City that drew hundreds of fans, and has in-store meet-and-greets planned in Cypress, Texas; Easton, Pennsylvania; Riverdale, Georgia; and Long Beach, California; next week.

In an emotional interview on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Cardi explained why she decided to finally release the follow-up to her debut: “I feel like because it’s over, it’s completely over. I was like, ‘This is what’s been missing.’”
“I feel like I played everything I wanted to play, and I was like, ‘This is it. There’s no more room for it,’” she added. With these words, she reaffirmed that she wants to close the stage of her debut and focus on what's next for her career.
Although she hasn't given specific dates, Cardi confirmed that she's already preparing a tour: "I'm already getting ready. I'm in the gym and taking dance classes." With her characteristic energy,It's clear she doesn't plan on sitting still after the release.
The album's title—'Am I the Drama?'—takes on an even deeper meaning in the wake of recent legal headlines involving the artist.
Recently acquitted of a $24 million lawsuit filed by a security guard who accused her of assault, Cardi responded with wry style, posting viral versions of her testimony under the album's tagline.
