Halle Berry will walk down the aisle for the fourth time, now with musician Van Hunt
The star behind
After several years of speculation regarding her future plans in the love department, actress Halle Berry confirmed that she will walk down the aisle with musician Van Hunt, who has been her partner for the last six years.
The news was announced by the actress herself during her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," specifically in the segment where the host mentioned the rumors surrounding her marital status. Contrary to her stance in recent years, Halle Berry addressed the issue and cleared up any doubts. "There's some confusion because he asked me to marry him, and I didn't refuse; we just haven't set a date yet. Of course, I said yes, I would marry him," the star of "Catwoman" revealed to applause from the audience. “He put a small ring on it,” she said, showing for the first time the jewel adorning her left ring finger, signaling her engagement to the musician. Responses to her announcement poured in on the NBC late-night show's platforms, including congratulations from stars like Jamie Foxx and Kiya Cole. The latter recalled Berry's stance on marriage until a few years ago:
“That's why you should never say never. I remember when she said she would never get married again. It all depends on who you're married to. Happy for her!” reads the comment section.
