Controversy surrounds Niurka Marcos again, but this time the consequences could go beyond headlines and materialize into a serious legal and financial conflict. The actress and showgirl is facing a lawsuit for moral damages that could amount to 20 million Mexican pesos, as a result of her continued public statements about her ex-partner, producer Juan Osorio, and his current wife, Eva Daniela, who is 38 years younger than him. The warning was formally confirmed by Daniela Lucio Espino, the couple's lawyer, who explained that Marcos was notified of a protective measure after his departure from Telemundo's 'La Casa de los Famosos All-Stars'. While the actress has labeled this notice a “legal threat,” its objective is explicit: to prohibit her from publicly referring to Osorio and his wife.

On Jimena Gallego's podcast, Niurka acknowledged receiving this warning from her ex-partner: “I received a notification from Juan Osorio's lawyer, prohibiting me from mentioning him.”

What are the grounds for the lawsuit?

According to statements from the legal representative, the claims are based on two main points, as seen in the material shared by journalist Maxine Woodside.

Lucio Espino accused Niurka of not taking the warning seriously, stating that “she has continued to be insistent and somewhat mocking.”

Faced with this situation, Niurka Marcos displayed an ambivalent attitude. On one hand, she stated that she had “no regrets whatsoever” in her life and claimed to have responded to the lawyer: “Lawyer, okay, I understand your warning. I promise never to mention the man's name again, neither for good nor for bad. I apologize in advance.” However, true to form, Niurka added: "What's coming is that it neither affects me nor takes anything away. I can talk about my life, I can talk about my realities, my pain, my experiences, and nobody can forbid me from doing that... we'll see what fate, karma, and life itself have in store."
