Shakira and Karol G's tours are among the most successful in the 21st century
Colombian singers were the only artists with a catalog mostly in Spanish in the ranking made by Pollstar, which is led by Taylor Swift
Colombian female power continues to redefine the global music industry. According to the most recent ranking published by Pollstar, Shakira and Karol G have established themselves as the only Latin artists within the select group of the 25 most successful female tours of the 21st century. This milestone not only highlights their ability to draw crowds but also places them alongside icons like Taylor Swift—who leads the list—Beyonce, Pink, and Lady Gaga. Most importantly, the Colombian artists are the only representatives in the ranking with a catalog primarily in Spanish, demonstrating that language is no longer a barrier to success. Historic Figures: Karol G occupies the 14th position in the ranking, surpassing international stars like Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, and Billie Eilish. Her meteoric rise is largely due to her "Manana sera bonito World Tour," which grossed over $300 million and sold 2.2 million tickets. In total, through her seven tours, the Colombian singer has accumulated earnings of $413 million. Meanwhile, Shakira continues to demonstrate her legendary status. Her current tour, "Las mujeres ya no lloran World Tour," is already shaping up to be the most lucrative of her career. With projections exceeding $400 million and more than 3.2 million tickets sold, the Barranquilla native has broken attendance records at iconic venues such as the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico and has innovated with artistic residency concepts in Madrid.
