Shakira invites Danna to her last concert in Mexico and makes the stage explode with 'Soltera'
Shakira closed her tour in Mexico City in style and had Danna as a special guest
The Colombian singer Shakira closed, on the night of Thursday, September 18, her 12-date tour in Mexico City and did so in a very special way, having Danna as a guest.
The Mexican singer, who had already been on a previous date by Shakira, returned to the stage and did so to sing alongside her the song 'Soltera', one of the most recent hits of Milan and Sasha's mother.
“Now it's time. A promise is a promise. This great artist... Danna!” said Shakira to the jubilation of the audience at the GNP Stadium, formerly Foro Sol.
Then both performers joined their voices and delighted the audience with their talent and also with their dance moves.
At the end of their performance, they both gave each other a big hug and Shakira once again lavished praise on Danna, who has also made a career in the world of acting.
“Thank you Danna, you are a goddess. A great artist, a great friend and together we are stronger. Together we are stronger,” said Shakira, to which Danna responded that she deserved all the success she reaped during the 12 dates she offered in the capital Mexican.
“Congratulations on this great record. We love you,” Danna told her before leaving the stage.
Danna’s presence at her show didn’t surprise anyone, as Shakira herself had already announced that the young Mexican would be with her on her last date in Mexico City.
“Thank you for everything you’ve given me, and I want to say goodbye on a high note, so I’m going to invite Danna to join me that day to sing ‘Soltera,’ that song that you all supported so much. I love you all very much, and I’ll see you soon. I can’t wait to be there on the 18th!” she shared at the time.
