The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed happiness over the arrest of Anubrata Mondal, a domineering leader of Birbhum district of West Bengal and district president of Trinamool Congress. Also, a list of 18 BJP workers has been released on social media, who were brutally murdered in the last 7 years. After the arrest of Anuvrat, BJP leaders and workers distributed jaggery and batasha in the entire district.

District BJP President Dhruv Saha said that it seems that Ravana has been destroyed from the form of Birbhum in Lanka. It is said that from September 2014 to May 2021, Trinamool Congress workers killed 18 BJP workers in the district. Following the directions of the Calcutta High Court, the investigation into the killing of BJP workers, leaders, supporters who were killed in the violence after the assembly elections in the state was also handed over to the CBI.

Dhruv Saha said that even in this case, the CBI had issued notices to Anuvrat Mandal several times. Along with this, many Trinamool leaders were also arrested. BJP leaders protested several times in protest against the killing of party workers. The allegation was that the state police was only doing food in this matter. The Trinamool leader accused of murder was roaming freely in the district, but the police did not arrest him.

All those accused were free under the protection of Anuvrat. BJP workers, supporters and family members of the victim are very happy after the arrest of the domineering leader of Trinamool today. Those BJP workers whose murder case has not been registered yet, their souls must have found peace today. District BJP leaders allege that in many cases, to intimidate our workers and supporters and their families, on the orders of Anuvrat, false statements were recorded and arrested.

BJP leaders said that those who were killed were our family members. Trinamool had killed him. District BJP leaders allege that the fight against Trinamool will continue till the end of Trinamool. Birbhum district BJP released a list of 18 workers killed in the district after the arrest of Anuvrat Mandal on Facebook.

BJP worker Sheikh Enamul was murdered in Domanpur on 10 September 2014.

In the year 2014 itself, three BJP workers Sheikh Rahim, Sheikh Kaushik were murdered.

BJP worker Indrajit Dutta was murdered in Mallarpur on 17 October 2016.

In the year 2018, three BJP workers Tapas Bagdi, Sheikh Dildar and Laltu Das were murdered.

In the year 2019, 5 BJP workers (Suresh Oram, Swaroop Gorai, Dalu Sheikh, Animesh Chakraborty and Sankri Bagdi) were brutally murdered by the goons of Anuvrat.

In the year 2021, 6 BJP workers (Bapi Akude, Pathihar Dom, Gaurav Sarkar, Zakir Hussain, Mithun Bagdi and Manoj Jaiswal) were put to death.
