Violent clashes broke out between workers of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy's party YSRCP and former CM Chandrababu Naidu's TDP at Macherla in Palnadu district on Friday night. There was stone pelting from both the sides. Violent clashes have escalated tension in the area. Vandalism and arson were also committed during the violent clash. Several vehicles were set on fire. There is also news of several people getting injured in the incident.
As per reports, when the clashes escalated, the police used mild force on TDP and YSRCP workers. After which the crowd dispersed. A large number of security forces reached the spot. The police tried to convince both the sides.

A car carrying five members of a family overturned after hitting the road divider in Nalgonda, Telangana. Two people, including the driver, died and two were injured in the accident. Police officials gave this information on Friday.
Police said a car carrying five members of a family rammed into the divider near the entrance gate of Nakrekal in Kethepally police station limits at around 1:30 am on Thursday, killing two people. The deceased have been identified as driver Phani Kumar and his mother Karuna.
Kethepally police sub-inspector Anil Reddy said Phani Kumar's wife Krishnaveni and son Sai Saneesh suffered serious injuries. While his 10-year-old daughter Jasritha was not hurt. Ambulance driver Nagaiah said the road accident occurred on the bypass at the entrance of Nakrekal. The car immediately caught fire after the car overturned on the road. There were five members in the car. Three of them received serious injuries and one died on the way to the hospital.
