BJP will not give up even if it does not get majority in Karnataka, plan to form government came to the fore

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to be lagging behind in the counting of votes released for the assembly elections in Karnataka. In the 224-seat assembly, between 70 and 75 seats are seen coming in his account. In the trends, Congress is getting 122 seats, BJP 71 and JDS 24 seats.
What is BJP's plan?
As per the trends, BJP is far from majority. In such a situation, his dream of forming the government may be shattered. But the party is still hopeful of an absolute majority. A senior BJP leader told news agency IANS that if our numbers fall short of the majority, the party will try to bring back those former leaders who have switched allegiance and won. To stop the anti-defection law, these leaders will be requested to resign from their seats and pave the way for the BJP government.
BJP will also try to get the support of any of the independent candidates if they win. If the party falls short of an absolute majority, the BJP leader said, the BJP will support the JD(S) and H.D. Kumaraswamy will be promoted as Chief Minister. Kumaraswamy, who was in Singapore for medical check-up, returned home on Saturday morning and has already informed the BJP about his desire to become the Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Congress has got majority in the trends but even after that the party is in alert mode. Congress general secretary (organisation) K.C. Venugopal is leading the talks with all senior party leaders. Randeep Singh Surjewala also senior state Congress leaders Siddaramaiah, D.K. Shivakumar, Jagadish Shettar, H.K. Seven of Patil and others are present in Bengaluru for the talks. Movement is also visible at the residence of party president Mallikarjun Kharge.
According to Congress sources, the first priority of the party will be to form the government. If the party gets less than ten seats, the priority will be to try to break the JD(S). Congress sources told news agency IANS that Siddaramaiah has been given the responsibility as he was a former JD(S) leader and has deep contacts in the party.
