Government employees shuddered in the joy of implementation of old pension scheme in Jharkhand. He reached the CM residence to express his gratitude. Gratitude and Pension Vijay Yatra-cum-congratulation ceremony was organized by the Government Employees Union under the banner of National Movement for Old Pension Scheme Jharkhand at the Chief Minister's residential complex on Kanke Road, Ranchi. During this, government employees felicitated Chief Minister Hemant Soren. CM Hemant Soren said that due to the implementation of this scheme, the future of the state workers and their families has been secured.

The Government Employees Union under the banner of National Movement for Old Pension Scheme Jharkhand expressed its gratitude to the Chief Minister in the joy of implementing the old pension scheme for the state employees by the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand. Old pension scheme restored from September 1
Let us tell you that the Jharkhand cabinet has agreed to restore the old pension scheme in the state from September 1, 2022. Prior to this, in the decision taken on July 15, a high-level committee was constituted under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner to prepare the standard operating procedure. Approval was given on the SOP fixed by the committee. State government employees will get the benefit of old pension scheme from September 1. From this date, the deduction made in the salary of the employees will stop.
SOP of old pension scheme
1. The benefit of the old pension scheme will be available to only those employees who will give an undertaking to abide by the terms of the SOP and will not make any additional financial claim in any way.
2. If the amount of contribution and interest received by the government in the new pension scheme is not given by NSDL directly to the government, the employees concerned will deposit this amount in the government treasury at the time of retirement.
3. If the amount of contribution of government employees in the new pension scheme is not received from NSDL, the employees will not claim it from the government
4. The salary of the employees opting for the old pension scheme will not be deducted at 10% from their salary under the new pension scheme.
5. On receipt of Government contribution from NSDL, it will be kept aside. This will be used for future pension obligations.
6. On receiving the contribution and interest of the employees from NSDL to the government, it will be given to the employees. There will be an option to keep this amount in the account of the Jharkhand General Provident Fund.
7. Employees retiring between the date of implementation of the new pension scheme (1/12/2004) to the date of implementation of the old pension scheme (1/9/2022) will also get the benefit of the old pension scheme.
8. All the work related to the implementation of old pension scheme will be settled by the Finance Department.
