A meeting was held on Saturday in Trisom Bhawan of Khairatia village of Dhamora Panchayat for mutual consent regarding the dispute over the water dispute of Nala located in Bhikhnathori, Indo Nepal. District Councilor Shailendra Garhwal presided over the meeting. During this, Block Chief Jaiprakash Paswan, Dhamura Mukhiya Ram Bihari Mahto, Jamuniya Mukhiya Vicky Garhwal, Poornamasi Manjhi, Madhurendra Mahto. Nand Kishore Mahto, Gumsta Vijay Mahto, Ward members Vijay Mahto, Sureshwar Yadav, Chhote Lal Yadav, Ramnath Yadav, Ramashankar Yadav were present in the meeting. There was a lot of resentment towards the people's representatives of Nepal among the people present. They said that while on the one hand, our problems have increased a lot due to the division of Peeler between Indo-Nepal.

After leaving the Bhikhnathori border, two drains come into the Indian border. Which has about 300 acres of crops in the villages of Aqua Parsauni, Bhawanipur, Khairtia, Bhatni, Dhamora etc. Today hundreds of acres of paddy crop is getting ruined due to the closure of the drain. The villagers said that they will take their rightful water. At the same time, Nepali representatives and people say that water will be available from Nepal only from a drain which is going to Nala Ekwa Parsauni, the water of the same drain will have to be divided into two parts. But there is no consensus among Indian farmers on this matter.

In the meeting, Shailendra Garhwal, while explaining to the furious crowd, said that if a concrete decision has been asked by the Nepali public representatives to take a concrete decision between the presence of both the sides on September 18, then it should be seen. After that we Indian farmers will take our own decision as to what we have to do next. For centuries, if water comes from two nallahs across the border, then it will come, for this we are ready and we will not back down in any condition.
