A major accident has taken place in Ludhiana, Punjab. About ten people are reported to have died due to gas leaking in Gyaspura. The administration has got the surrounding area of 300 meters vacated. Rescue work is on. The accident happened near Sitara Cinema on Gayaspur Sua Road at around quarter to eight in the morning.

According to sources, many pets have also died due to the gas leak. The police administration has taken charge. Fire department personnel have also reached the spot.
