Experience the latest updates on Rajasthan’s weather conditions. Stay informed about fluctuating temperatures, cloudy skies, and the possibility of rain in some regions.
In a continuing phase of weather change, Rajasthan experienced a mix of cloudy skies and sporadic light rain in some regions on Monday, while most areas remained dry. The fluctuating temperature, influenced by cloud pressure, marked the weather pattern across the state. After a week-long impact of the western disturbance in Sikar district, the weather started normalizing on Monday.
With the cloud pressure easing, temperatures rose slightly by one degree. At the Fatehpur Agricultural Research Center, the maximum temperature recorded on Monday stood at 35.5 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 22.2 degrees Celsius. This marked a slight increase from Sunday's maximum of 34.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20.5 degrees Celsius.
Churu Weather Update:
While the effect of the Western Disturbance lingered in Churu district, Monday saw an increase in both day and night temperatures due to reduced cloud cover. However, strong winds persisted in the district. The maximum temperature on Monday reached 35.9 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 23.2 degrees Celsius, compared to Sunday's maximum of 33.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20.5 degrees Celsius.
Jhunjhunu Weather Update:
Cloud cover persisted in Jhunjhunu district on Monday, accompanied by an increase in wind speed during the day, leading to a 2.4-degree drop in maximum temperature. Conversely, a slight rise of six degrees was observed in the minimum temperature. Changes in temperature are anticipated throughout the day due to varying wind and sunlight conditions. At the Pilani Meteorological Centre, the maximum temperature decreased from 38.6 to 36.2 degrees Celsius on Monday, while the minimum increased from 21 to 21.6 degrees Celsius.
Further Outlook: Dry Weather Ahead
The Meteorological Department forecasts dry weather for the next three days across Rajasthan, including the Shekhawati region, with fluctuating temperatures. However, after April 18, the activation of a local cyclone may bring rain to some areas, accompanied by changing weather patterns. Additionally, a new western disturbance may lead to light rain with thunder in isolated places in Jodhpur, Bikaner divisions on April 18, and in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer divisions on April 19.
