BJP demands dismissal of Satyendra Jain

Earlier on November 2, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla had demanded the sacking of Satyendra Jain, who is lodged in Tihar Jail. Talking to the media, BJP leader Shahzad Poonawalla said that Delhi Chief Minister's minister Satyendar Jain (who is in jail in the hawala case) has taken Rs 10 crore as security money from Sukesh Chandrashekhar while in jail. He said that Kejriwal has kept Satyendar Jain for extortion as he is in jail for the last four to five months. He has not got bail, yet he remains a minister. Arvind Kejriwal calls him a staunch honest, while the courts call him a criminal.

Satyendra Jain came to meet me many times in jail

Mahathaga Sukesh Chandrashekhar, in a letter to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena, said that he has been associated with AAP leader Satyendar Jain since 2015. He has given Rs 50 crore after promising to be given an important post in the Aam Aadmi Party in South India. Chandrashekhar said in his letter that after my arrest in the year 2017 I was imprisoned in Tihar Jail and Satyendra Jain had come to meet me several times. The secretary had asked me to give 2 crores every month as security amount.
