From Delhi to Bihar and Jharkhand, 'fire' is raining from the sky. In most states of North India, the temperature is above 40 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Narela, Delhi and Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh was recorded above 47 degrees. The India Meteorological Department has said there will be no relief from the scorching heat in Delhi for the time being. On Tuesday, the temperature in the national capital was recorded above 43.8 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees more than the normal average temperature of this season.
'Fire' Raining from the Sky in UP
Along with Delhi NCR, UP is also experiencing severe heat. The temperature in most districts of the state is being recorded between 45 degrees to 47 degrees, which is 4 degrees more than the normal temperature for this season. The highest temperature of 47.1 degrees was recorded in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Other high temperatures include 45.3 degrees in Varanasi, 45.2 degrees in Bagpat and Fursatganj, and 45 degrees in Fatehpur. The capital, Lucknow, is also suffering, with a maximum temperature of 44.7 degrees Celsius.
The Heat Wave Continues in Rajasthan
Rajasthan is also burning with scorching heat. In many districts, it is unbearably hot during the day. On Tuesday, Churu in Rajasthan was the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 45.6 degrees Celsius. Sri Ganganagar recorded over 45 degrees, while Fatehpur and Bikaner recorded 44.8 degrees, Pilani 44.7 degrees, and Sangaria 44.3 degrees. However, the Meteorological Department has said that in the coming days, strong winds may blow along with lightning in many areas of Rajasthan.
The Heat Wave Will Continue in Jharkhand
The entire state of Jharkhand is experiencing severe heat. The Meteorological Department says there is no relief in sight. A red alert for heat wave has been issued for 12, 13, and 14 June. However, during this time, there are chances of rain with thunder in some districts, and strong winds may also blow.
These Areas May Receive Rain Today
According to Skymet Weather, moderate to heavy rains may occur over South Konkan Goa, South Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Coastal Karnataka, and North Interior Karnataka during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rains are possible over Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Sikkim, and parts of Western Assam with heavy rains at some places. Light to moderate rains are also possible over Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Southern Chhattisgarh, and Southern Gujarat. Light rains may occur over Madhya Pradesh, Southern Gujarat, and South-Eastern Rajasthan.
Monsoon Reaches Gujarat Four Days Early
There is relief regarding rain as the monsoon is gradually arriving in many parts of the country. The southwest monsoon has reached Gujarat on Tuesday, four days ahead of the scheduled time. According to the IMD, the monsoon usually reaches Gujarat by June 15, but this year it arrived early. The department predicts light to moderate rain with thunder in all districts over the next two days.
