Joe Biden reproaches Donald Trump for remaining silent about the Russian invasion of Ukraine
Biden criticized Trump for lying about certain issues in his State of the Union address and for remaining silent regarding the war in Ukraine
Joe Biden reappeared on the scene to confront Donald Trump about having resorted to lies in his State of the Union address and for remaining silent about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a problem that, far from resolving as he had promised during his campaign, he now chooses to ignore.
Having weakened his physical health due to the cancer he is battling, former President Biden attended a party organized by the South Carolina Democratic Party to commemorate his victory in the Democratic primaries held in that state six years ago, an achievement that ultimately paved the way for his presidential nomination.
During his remarks, the former president dedicated a few minutes to criticizing the current head of state.
“By the way, did you see Trump give the State of the Union address? Is he still speaking? I don't know. But, folks, it's incredible. He speaks for almost two hours, but he never mentions the anniversary of Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Not once,” he said.
Biden's words are particularly relevant because Donald Trump had previously promised to resolve a four-year-long war within days.
In truth, that issue has faded from the public consciousness.
on the Republican's agenda, as he is more focused on trying to convince Americans that the economic problems were inherited.
“The Biden “The day I left office, I handed Trump the strongest economy in the world. That's not an exaggeration. It's a fact.”, the Democrat emphasized.
