John Kerry dismissed Donald Trump's claim to see Iran as a nuclear threat
Democrat John Kerry maintains that Iran never posed a threat to global security as Donald Trump continues to claim
Former Secretary of State John Kerry dismissed President Donald Trump's argument that Iran was a threat to the rest of humanity because it was close to enriching uranium to build nuclear weapons.
During an interview with MS-13, Kerry stated that Trump had previously argued that Iran was close to enriching uranium to build nuclear weapons.
NOW, the lawyer, former military officer, and diplomat, launched a rebuke directed at Republicans, but primarily at Donald Trump, for threatening to wipe out a civilization as part of his war strategy to intimidate Iran.
“We are the place that, as you know, worked so hard to liberate Europe from fascism and to make so many other contributions around the world. And you dare to use that kind of language and say that an entire civilization is going to die.
That sounds to me like a prelude to becoming one of the greatest war criminals in history.
When you destroy a civilization, you are acting precisely against all international norms, standards, values, hopes, and aspirations,” he stated.
Following this, the former Secretary of State categorically denied that Iran was a threat to world security.
“There simply was no imminent threat. And the administration even spent months telling us that they had annihilated all of the “program,” he noted, referring to the US offensive launched by the US armed forces on June 22nd under the codename Operation Midnight Hammer. However, the Republican president, who governs from Washington, remains committed to his plan to annihilate the Islamic Republic should it refuse to open the Strait of Hormuz to the passage of ships carrying mostly oil and goods needed primarily in Europe. “We are loading the ships with the best ammunition, the best weapons ever made, even better than what we had before. If we don't reach an agreement, we will use them very effectively.”He recently explained this in a dialogue with the New York Post.
It should be noted that the armed conflict initiated under the guise of halting the alleged development of nuclear weapons has already produced an energy crisis that has increased the price of most products globally, triggering in turn an economic crisis of still immeasurable dimensions among financial experts.
That is why the American Democrats are seeking ways to reason with Donald Trump who, true to form, refuses to listen to them.
