America: Indiscriminate firing in Philadelphia, four dead out of 8 injured, one suspect in custody

Once again the incident of firing has come to the fore in America. A day before Independence Day, 8 people were shot in indiscriminate firing, out of which 4 have died. At the same time, the police have detained a suspect.
Officials said the shooting occurred in the 5700 block of Warrington Avenue in the Kingswing area of Philadelphia. Here a heavily armed gunman wearing a bulletproof vest opened fire while walking on the road. Eight people were injured by this. These include 2 children as well.
Police said six of the injured were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and two to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Four people died during treatment, while four are still undergoing treatment. The officer said the suspect has been taken into custody. Along with this, weapons have also been recovered from him.
According to the Gun Violence Archive, there have been at least 339 mass shootings in the US so far this year.
