According to a statement released by the Price Club retail chain, Costco reported that the abortion pill mifepristone will no longer be sold in its pharmacies due to a "lack of demand from our members and other patients."

Following the retailer's announcement, Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), a conservative religious coalition, hailed the decision as positive.
