Let us discuss here that Pakistan's newly appointed Army Chief General Asim Munir visited the Line of Control (LoC) for the first time on Saturday after assuming the post of Pakistan Army Chief and said the above things. Munir, who reached the LoC, met Pakistani soldiers deployed in Rakhchikri sector.

Army Chief General Aseem Munir said that recently highly irresponsible statements of the Indian leadership have been heard on Gilgit Baltistan and Jammu and Kashmir. I want to make it clear that if we are attacked, Pakistan's armed forces will work to defend every inch of our motherland. At the same time, he is always ready to give a befitting reply to the enemy.

It should be noted that General Munir had replaced General Qamar Javed Bajwa on 24 November. Talking about Bajwa, he retired after serving three-year terms twice as Pakistan Army Chief. General Munir, who came to visit the border areas, was informed about the latest situation near the Line of Control and the operational preparedness of the Pakistan Army.

General Munir, who arrived here, lauded the Pakistani soldiers and officers for performing their duties under challenging circumstances, showing high morale and professionalism.
