Riverside County prosecutors on Tuesday filed murder charges against Jake and Rebecca Haro, the parents of Emmanuel, a 7-month-old baby who has been missing since August 14 and is presumed dead.

The charges were filed Tuesday, the day Emmanuel's parents were later expected to have their first court hearing in connection with their baby's disappearance.

The document filed Tuesday by prosecutors states that the couple "willfully and unlawfully" committed murder in the case, even though the child's body has not yet been found.
