Milwaukee Brewers fan lost her job due to ICE threats to Latino Dodgers fan (Video)
A Milwaukee Brewers fan lost her job due to threats to report a Dodgers fan to ICE
It cost a Milwaukee Brewers fan dearly to threaten a Latino fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and call the ICE unit, during the course of the second game of the National League Championship Series, when she was fired from her job
The fan was identified as Shannon Kobylarczyk, who worked for the Manpower Group, a personnel company based in Milwaukee, and whose termination details were confirmed by the company on October 15, stating that: "she is no longer part of the events."
The unfortunate racist incident occurred last Tuesday, October 14, at American Family Field, where the woman was captured by several attendees who quickly made the event viral on social media, where they show Ricardo Fosado, a Dodgers fan, recording with his cell phone while encouraging the crowd after Enrique "Kike" Hernandez's home run in the seventh inning that increased his team's lead to 4-1.
Fosado reacted uncomfortably to the threats uttered by the Milwaukee fan when he questioned those present: "Why is everyone so quiet?" and the woman's response was immediate: "You know what, we called ICE," in relation to the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service.
The aforementioned fan of Latin descent, Ricardo Fosado, very angry, responded: "Call ICE, call them. You're an (expletive) idiot," later explaining that he is a US citizen and a veteran of two wars.
The above was revealed by Kobylarczyk herself, who even reported it to stadium security, and minutes later he was escorted out of the sports venue.
Given these facts, it should be remembered that since the administration of President Donald Trump toughened immigration policy at the borders with Mexico and Canada, A climate of terror has been generated among Latinos by their migrant detention operations, and in this sense, the Brewers fan believed that her attitude would have no consequences, but in the end she paid dearly for her threats.
