Two teenagers escaped an attempted kidnapping on Sunday in the North Hills area, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported.
LAPD Detective Efren Gutierrez said the girls, ages 13 and The 16-year-old girls were first contacted by the suspect in North Hills Community Park, near the intersection of Acre Street and Columbus Avenue. Gutierrez added that the man stopped next to them Sunday afternoon and offered them a ride, but the teenagers declined and continued walking.
