According to NWS forecasts, a winter storm could arrive in the region next week, bringing rain and snow to mountainous areas mountainous.
“In the holiday spirit, here’s a treat for those who miss the rain! All signs point to a change in the pattern, with widespread rain in the region starting next weekend, though it’s more likely to be during Christmas week,” the NWS said on social media.
