Terming the case involving the Adani group as an example of "crony capitalism", the Congress on Tuesday said the government should accept the demand of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the matter if it has nothing to hide.

Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh made this comment in the context of a statement by Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah has said that there is nothing to hide in the case of Adani Group. Is. Ramesh also said that he has written to the RBI governor and SEBI chief, seeking an impartial inquiry into the matter. He said that Congress will not back down from JPC's demand.
