Ram prepares an all-out offensive to conquer North America
Ram plans new models, hybrid pickups and SUVs to grow strongly in the North American market
Ram has already made it clear that it does not want to continue playing a secondary role in the US market. The Stellantis truck brand is preparing a huge renewal of its range with new models, compact pickups, family SUVs, hybrid versions and even sports cars with Hellcat engines.

The strategy is part of the FastLane 2030 program, the ambitious plan with which Stellantis intends to launch 11 completely new vehicles and renew another 12 models in the coming years. The idea is to expand its presence in segments where the company still has little strength today and regain ground against brands such as Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota.

Ram appears as one of the most important pieces within that project. The goal is to increase sales by 60% before the end of the decade and turn it into one of the strongest brands in the North American market.
Ram wants to cover all segments
The company understood that depending solely on large pickups is no longer enough. That is why the new strategy includes vehicles of different sizes and much more varied proposals.
One of the most anticipated launches will be the Ram Rampage, a compact pickup that has already had good results in South America and will now be adapted to the US market. The brand wants to fully enter a segment where smaller and more accessible models have grown a lot.
The Rampage will feature off-road-oriented Rebel versions and sporty-focused R/T variants. Additionally, Ram plans to add hybrid and possibly electrified options to stay competitive in the face of new market demand.
The Dakota returns to fight hard
Another important move will be the return of the Ram Dakota. The midsize pickup will return after years out of the market with a fairly clear mission. Compete directly against models like the Toyota Tacoma.
Ram seeks to position it with a price below $40,000 to attract customers who want a midsize truck without jumping to the more expensive full-size pickups.
The brand is also analyzing a future high-performance SRT version, something that could make the Dakota one of the most powerful and sporty midsize pickups in the segment.
Hybrids, SUVs and V8 engines
Ram does not want to abandon large engines despite the electrification that is advancing throughout the industry. In fact, the return of the legendary Hemi V8 is working better than expected and already represents close to 40% of sales in some of the brand's models.
At the same time, Stellantis is also preparing Ram's landing in the SUV segment. The Ramcharger project evolved into a large utility vehicle with an extended range hybrid system.
The brand still keeps many details under wraps, although it promises very competitive autonomy figures for the US market.
The SRT versions will be protagonists
Ram will also reinforce its wilder side with new SRT models. The first of this new stage was the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, equipped with a Hellcat engine capable of delivering 777 horsepower.
The intention is to expand this sports line to other products in the range and take advantage of the enormous interest that high-performance pickups continue to generate in North America.
All this movement is accompanied by another important detail for the brand. Ram will once again compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, something that is also part of the strategy to strengthen its sports image.
