A Grammy-nominated singer was stabbed to death Monday night at his Santa Monica residence, authorities said.
Jubilant Sykes, a classical and gospel singer, died from stab wounds allegedly inflicted by his son, according to the Department of Santa Monica Police in a statement.
According to authorities, at approximately 9:20 p.m. this Monday, officers responded to a residence in the 1700 block of Delaware Avenue after a person on the property called 911 to report an assault in progress.
