A Hispanic woman from Orange County, reported missing in Santa Ana after a trip to visit family in Tijuana, was located in Mexico.
The Santa Ana Police Department Ana (SAPD) reported that Yasmin Gonzalez Benitez, 21, is in Mexico voluntarily, according to detectives investigating the case, without mentioning how they confirmed the Hispanic woman's location. Gonzalez Benitez, a mother of a 4-year-old girl, was reported missing by her boyfriend on March 15 after she failed to return from a trip to Tijuana, a trip she allegedly made accompanied by a brother who lives in the United States.
