An Australian family is desperately seeking information about the whereabouts of their 26-year-old daughter, who disappeared during a trip to the United States and has not communicated with her loved ones since June 20.

The young woman was identified as Sally Grace Contarino, who was visiting different tourist destinations in the country, including Las Vegas, Mount Charleston and areas of southern California.

According to reports cited by Australian media, her relatives stopped having contact with her on June 20 and since then they have not known where she is.

The young woman had left her accommodation and had a flight booked

According to available information, Contarino disappeared after finishing his stay at a hostel located in Las Vegas.

Surveillance footage captured by a nearby restaurant showed the young woman walking through the area on the night of June 19. According to the report, he was wearing dark clothing and monochromatic Converse shoes.

He later returned to the accommodation where he had stayed for five days.

Hours later he carried out the process of leaving the hostel remotely.

Travel record indicates that he did not board a bus to Los Angeles

The investigation also indicates that Contarino had purchased a Greyhound bus ticket to travel from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and connect with his international flight.

However, records obtained by local media indicated that the ticket was not scanned.

People who interacted with her during the trip described the young woman as calm and in good spirits.

During his tour of the United States he had also previously visited destinations such as Palm Springs and other desert areas in the west of the country.

Police request collaboration to locate her

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department opened a disappearance investigation and asked for citizen support to gather information to locate the traveler.

The authorities also notified hospitals in the area to check if there is any record related to her.
