Shivangi said that she accepted the offer to work in the 12th season of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' because the show puts the contestants in challenging situations and gives them a chance to learn a lot in life.

Shivangi (24) told PTI-Bhasha, "The experience of working in a show like 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' is completely different. I am not playing any character in this show, it is all real. I am facing my own fears, doing stunts, getting hurt and actually crying without glycerin. I did this show purely for the experience that I will not get anywhere else.

Born in Pune, Shivangi made her television debut in 2013 with the serial 'Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi' and after that she also acted in TV serials like 'Beinteha', 'Love by Chance' and 'Begusarai'. But, Shivangi got fame and recognition from the character of Naira Singhania in the serial 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'.
