Competition reality shows are all the rage. While Telemundo returns with the second season of “La Isla: Desafio Extremo,” TelevisaUnivision presents “El Conquistador: Survivencia Extrema,” a first season hosted by Julian Gil alongside his wife Valeria Marin, a renowned sports journalist.

The program itself will air on UniMas, starting Monday, October 27, at 8 pm/7 c, but the competition can also be seen in Mexico on Channel 5 starting at 9:30 pm.

What does this new competition consist of?

A battle for glory

Just like in the Telemundo program, in this one we will have three teams. Which, according to their achievements, will become the rich, the poor, and the hellish.

These will be led by elite captains; For weeks, they will live amidst starvation, extreme weather, and relentless pressure from their rivals, testing not only their physical strength but also their mental and emotional mettle.

The winner will take home a prize of $200,000 and the honor of becoming “El Conquistador.”
