Paris Jackson, a renowned American model and influencer, became a trending topic on social media after sharing a video on her Instagram stories where she is seen driving her car in an arid landscape, accompanied by her pets and sporting a cowboy look.

However, what really caught the public's attention was the music playing in the background: 'Here down' "Down," the 2020 hit by regional Mexican singer Christian Nodal.

The video, which quickly went viral, generated a flood of reactions. Mexican users flooded the comments with praise for Jackson's musical taste. Phrases like "She knows good music, she had a teacher at home," referring to her father, Michael Jackson, or "Obviously, the music of the best in regional Mexican music really resonates," were some of the most repeated.

Many even tagged Nodal himself so he would see the post.

A self-proclaimed fan

The surprise for many lies in the fact that, although it seems like a recent discovery, Paris Jackson had already publicly declared her preference for the Mexican artist.

In June 2024, during an interview with Spanish media, when asked about Spanish music, Jackson replied without hesitation: "Of course I listen to music in Spanish. Christian Nodal is my favorite."

At that moment, there was some confusion, as the model thought they were referring to music in the Spanish language, not specifically from Spain, after which she also mentioned Rosalia.

This incident comes at a relevant time for Christian Nodal's career, who recently announced a change to the date of his highly anticipated concert at the Plaza de Toros “La Mexico.” Originally scheduled for May 30, 2026, the performance was moved up to May 29 for logistical reasons, according to his team, in order to “fully experience this concert full of emotions and surprises.”

So far, Christian Nodal has not publicly commented on Paris Jackson's video.
