Shakira dressing room was flooded prior to a concert in Mexico

This Friday, during her world tour Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, the Colombian singer Shakira faced an unforeseen event before her concert at the Corregidora Stadium in Queretaro, Mexico.
Due to heavy rains and leaks in the roof of the stadium, the dressing room assigned to the artist was flooded, which which caused logistical chaos prior to the performance.
Through her Instagram account, the Colombian singer shared videos and images where the dressing room can be seen covered in water, with black bags protecting cables and lights.
“Look at my dressing room before last night's concert,” Shakira wrote alongside the images.
This mishap caused a delay of almost three hours for the start of the show, generating concern among those in attendance. However, neither Shakira nor her team allowed the difficulties to stop the show.
The singer came out with great energy and professionalism to offer a memorable concert in the rain, earning the ovation and affection of her Mexican audience.
The singer thanked her fans for their patience and support: “Thank you for waiting for me, for coming despite the rain. My pack is always there, they are always there for me and I am there for you.”
The performance in Queretaro adds to other milestones of the tour in Mexico, where the singer has broken attendance records and has performed in emblematic venues such as the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City.
Currently, Shakira is in Mexico, where she recently began the second leg of her Latin American tour.
The singer will perform 17 shows in Mexico that will generate more than $106 million in tourism spending, benefiting various local industries.
