Delhi Weather: Pollution is increasing continuously in Delhi. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded in the 'very poor' category for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday morning, raising concerns for Delhiites. However, in the meantime, news of a relief is coming that today there may be rain showers in Delhi. Meteorological department experts have predicted light rain or drizzle on Tuesday.

According to the data shared by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 17.2 degrees Celsius today, which is three degrees above the average this season. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the 24-hour average AQI in the national capital was 348 at around 9:15 am on Tuesday. Let us tell you that on Sunday the AQI was 339 which increased to 354 on Monday.

The Meteorological Department has predicted a partly cloudy day with the possibility of light rain or drizzle in the national capital Delhi. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of the maximum temperature of Delhi being around 32 degree Celsius.

According to Skymet Weather, two types of weather factors are necessary to reduce air pollution. The first heavy rain which proves helpful in washing away the pollutants. On the other hand, medium to strong wind which usually disperses pollutants and gives relief from pollution. However, none of these weather activities are expected during the next week or two.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, a Western Disturbance is passing through the Western Himalayas. Due to this Western Disturbance, a cyclonic circulation can be seen over Pakistan and Punjab. It has been told that easterly winds will continue to blow. Therefore, the smoke coming out of the stubble fire being burnt in the field will be less disturbing. However, from November 9, once again the winds started changing their direction, due to which pollution will be seen increasing.
