The security system has been tightened across the country on the occasion of Independence Day. Meanwhile , the police of the capital i.e. Delhi is also on high alert . Tight security arrangements have been made all over Delhi. Security personnel are already deployed in the security of Red Fort. More than 10 thousand Delhi Police personnel have been deployed from the ground to the sky to protect the Red Fort. There is also input of terrorist attack, in view of which Delhi Police is constantly in touch with all security agencies. Considering the inputs of the agencies, strict security arrangements have been made.

Since Independence Day, special work is being done to keep a special eye on kites and balloons flying in the sky of Delhi. 400 soldiers have been deployed separately to stop the kite-flyers. The police will start the process of taking over the high-rise buildings located around the Red Fort. Delhi Police commandos and shooters will be deployed on them. These buildings will be sealed. After the input, work is being done to keep a special watch on the colonies of Rohingyas located in Delhi.

On August 15, on the occasion of 75th Independence Day, more than 10,000 police personnel will be deployed around the historic Red Fort. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of the Mughal era memorial on Independence Day. Like every year, the city police said it had made elaborate security arrangements for Independence Day, which would be "foolproof". Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Deependra Pathak said that on the occasion of Independence Day, the Red Fort and More than 10,000 police personnel in various roles will be deployed on the routes leading to the venue. We have made foolproof security arrangements for the day.

Deependra Pathak said that this year special attention will be given to sub-conventional air items and coordination is being done at the inter-state level as well as intelligence and central agencies. He said that we are conducting a massive investigation to find out the presence of IED (Improvised Explosive Device). The employees are being informed about adequate security, training and deployment as per the plan. Pathak said that more than 400 kite hawkers have been deployed in the Red Fort and its surrounding areas to prevent flying of balloons and kites. We are also spreading awareness through residence welfare associations and market welfare associations. We are appealing to the people not to see kites, balloons or any kind of flying object around the memorial on 15th August, to follow the advisory issued.
