Police stopped Swami Avimukteshwaranand
Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has announced to worship the Shivling found in Gyanvapi Masjid on 4th June. The police of Varanasi Commissionerate has taken a strict stand regarding this. After his statement, DCP Kashi Zone has clearly said on this matter that if efforts are made to offer prayers there, then strict legal action will be taken against them. Peace and law and order will not be allowed to be affected in any way. For the time being, the police have kept Swami Avimukteshwaranand under eye.
Will worship in the mosque premises with 71 people
Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati had informed that he would leave Srividya Math at 8:30 am on 4th June with 71 people to worship Lord Adi Vishweshwar, who appeared in Gyanvapi. There will be one celibate out of 71 people. Apart from this, 64 devotees will stay with the worship material. Together there will be 5 Pandits. The same fixed number of people will remain. Everyone will be disciplined. All of them will reach Lalita Ghat by boat from Kedar Ghat. There he will go to the Shivling that appeared by filling Gangajal in the Kalash. After worship, aarti and bhog-raga, everyone will return by boat back to Srividya Math located at Kedar Ghat at 10 o'clock.
After this announcement, the district administration has become alert. DCP Kashi Zone has said that the place where Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has been seeking permission for worship in the Gyanvapi complex has been sealed by the order of the court. The place is monitored by CRPF personnel. The case related to that place is pending in the court.
He said that Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati cannot be allowed to offer prayers in the Gyanvapi complex. Worshiping against the rules would mean disobeying both the administration and the court.
