Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray. Due to this the mercury of Maharashtra's politics rose again. However, Eknath Shinde refused to call this meeting a political meeting.

After meeting MNS chief Raj Thackeray , Mnath Shinde said in a conversation with reporters, I had gone to Raj Thackeray ji's house for Ganpati darshan. This is not a political meeting. Everyone goes to each other's place in Ganpati. Everyone has worked with Balasaheb. There has been no political discussion.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani at his South Mumbai residence on Thursday evening. Officials said the two leaders met the chairman of Reliance Group on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde welcomed Lord Ganesha at his official residence 'Varsha' in south Mumbai. The 10-day Ganeshotsav began from today in Maharashtra and across the country. Shinde along with his wife, son and Lok Sabha MP Shrikant Shinde and his grandson worshiped the Ganesh idol.

Significantly, in June this year, Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde and 39 other MLAs had revolted against the party leadership, leading to the fall of the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government. After this Shinde formed the government in the state in collaboration with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Shinde took oath as chief minister on June 30 and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis took oath as deputy chief minister.
