There is good news for the patients coming for treatment at IGIC Hospital in Patna city. Now the pathology report will be sent on the mobile of the patients of the hospital. In this regard, a plan has been made by the hospital administration. Under the outsourcing arrangement, the software will be installed in the computer of his lab through the agency conducting blood and urine testing. Reports will be made available on the mobile of the patients through the software. It should be mentioned here that at present this facility is in IGIMS. Where patients can take the report of pathology lab on mobile too.

According to the doctors of the institute, after the system starts, the patients will get freedom from the long line at the pathology examination center. Along with this, lab paper will also be saved. It is noteworthy that in the OPD of IGIC, between 500 to 600 patients come daily for treatment. In these, doctors prescribe more than 150 patients daily for pathology examination.

Under the present system, the patients get the test report after two days. For which patients have to go to the hospital's lab again to take it. After taking the report, one has to stand in line to show it to the doctor of the OPD of the concerned department. But now patients will not have to stand in the line of the lab.

After the investigation, after a few hours, the report will be received on the mobile number of the patient's family. The report will be sent in PDF format, which the patient or family can download and print it from anywhere. Or by showing him directly to the doctor, he will be able to take advice about treatment. According to the officials of the institute, if everything goes well, then this system will be started from next month.
