Ram Mandir: Big fraud in the name of Ram Temple, money is being demanded even on social media; VHP lodged complaint

Another big fraud has come to light regarding the inauguration program of Ram Temple. Fake accounts are being created on social media in the name of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and people are being asked for money as donations. People are being appealed to extend maximum cooperation in the inauguration of Ram Temple by distributing QR codes on popular social media platforms. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has filed a complaint against this with Uttar Pradesh Police and Delhi Police. Earlier, a case of taking donations from people by cutting slips in the name of Ram temple had come to light in Rajasthan.
A profile has been created on Facebook in the name of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Shretra Trust and the QR code has been shared. The profile has been created in the name of Abhishek Kumar. An appeal has been made on the profile to Ram devotees to donate generously for the inauguration program of Ram temple. Similarly, by issuing a UPI number (9040914736@paytm), an appeal is being made on it to donate for Ram Temple. This profile has been created in the name of Manisha Nallabeli. People are also being asked for money by sending similar messages in WhatsApp groups.
In the complaint sent to DGP Uttar Pradesh, VHP has said that this is an attempt to defame the inauguration program of Ram Temple. Through this, money is being collected from people illegally. An appeal has been made to the police to arrest the people behind this fraud as soon as possible and take appropriate legal action.
Trust is not taking any donation: VHP
VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal told Amar Ujala that no donation is being sought for the inauguration program of Lord Ram's temple in Ayodhya and no committee has been formed for this. He said that the inauguration of Lord Ram's temple in Ayodhya is a social event and the entire country is immersed in its joy. But taking advantage of people's sentiments, some people are trying to earn money wrongly on this occasion. He said that the police should arrest those who are doing such work as soon as possible. He also appealed to the public not to fall prey to such fraud and not to donate anything.
