Due to the presence of name and mobile number in the threatening letter, the police got to the bottom, otherwise it would not have been easy to trace.
A demand of Rs 1.5 crore was made through a letter
According to Railway DSP Sushant Kumar Chanchal, the station manager had received a letter. In this, a threat and demand of Rs 1.5 crore was made. It was written in the letter that if the amount is not paid, Vande Bharat, Rajdhani and Janshatabdi trains will not survive. Kamaldev said- he did not write this letter
Railway Police formed a special team for this. The location and details of the mobile number written in the letter were extracted. It was revealed that this was the number of Kamaldev Singh, resident of Ramakrishnanagar, Patna. Railway police reached Kamaldev's house on Saturday night. After this he was interrogated. What Kamaldev revealed after this was shocking. Kamaldev told that he did not write this letter. The Railway Police checked his handwriting and the authorship of the letter for proof, but it did not match.
Kamta Prasad went to jail 4 months ago
During interrogation, Kamaldev told that this work belongs to Kamta Prasad, resident of Bahadurpur. He teaches in a school in Patna City. Kamta Prasad hatched this conspiracy to get him sent to jail. After this the police reached Kamta Prasad's house. On the basis of evidence found during investigation and interrogation of Kamta Prasad, the police took him into custody. Police say that embezzlement of crores of rupees had come to light in the land case of Bihar State Housing Board. Kamta Prasad went to jail on this charge 4 months ago. A few days ago he came out on bail.
