Oldest Tiger Of World Dies: The oldest tiger 'Raja' has died. Royal Bengal Tiger Raja's age was 26 years, 10 months and 18 days. According to media reports, the 27th birthday of 'Raja' was to be celebrated on 23 August and preparations were also made by the Forest Department to celebrate the birthday of 'Raja' with pomp.

The Royal Bengal Tiger Raja died on Monday at the SKB Rescue Center in Alipurduar, West Bengal. Tiger 'Raja' of the SKB rescue center died at the age of 25 years and 10 months at around 3 am on Monday, making it one of the longest-living tigers in the country. Alipurduar DM SK Meena told about this – Royal Bengal Tiger Raja was rescued from Sundarbans after a crocodile attack in 2008. Raja's post-mortem was done, whose report is awaited. He was old and had been ill for some time. His death is unfortunate, people specially came to see him.
