White House records show that Donald Trump has been working up to 12 hours a day
The White House is trying to prove, through some records, that President Donald Trump has been working up to 12 hours a day
In an effort to refute claims that President Donald Trump is allegedly slowing down his work pace due to health problems, the White House released some records that prove the opposite.
Last week, the nation's leader lashed out at a correspondent for The New York Times whom he described as “a second-rate reporter, ugly inside and out.”
The 79-year-old Republican's annoyance stemmed from an article titled “Shorter Days, Signs of Fatigue: Trump Faces the Realities of Aging in Office,” published by Katie Rogers in collaboration with Dylan Freedman.
The article mentioned that Trump has reduced his public appearances and travels much less within the United States compared to the first year of his administration in 2017.
“When he is in public, occasionally, his battery shows signs of wear,” a fragment of the article states.
In response, the president also lashed out against the newspaper.
“This cheap 'RAG' is a true 'ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE,'” he wrote on the Truth Social platform.
And to demonstrate that, far from reducing his workload, he is now even working more, the White House... He shared with the New York Post some non-public official records that allegedly show Trump has been working up to 12 hours a day. In fact, it indicates that between November 12 and 25, when Katie Rogers' article was published, the president worked nearly 50 hours a week reviewing his trade policies, immigration issues, and matters related to ending the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. It should be noted that the information mentioned does not take into account the phone calls Trump often makes very early in the morning, nor the time he spends sharing posts on the Truth Social platform.which are related to his work in politics.
In this regard, the White House accused the New York Times of trying to portray the nation's current leader as a man who was mentally failing, which it categorically denies.
