The president of the United States and the president of FIFA stood out as the main spectators of the first final of the world tournament in its new format
Infantino confirmed on Saturday, at a media event at Trump Tower in New York, that the US president would attend the match this Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford (New Jersey, USA). "He immediately embraced the importance of the Club World Cup and of course next year's World Cup," Infantino said of Trump, with whom he says he has a very good rapport.
This Sunday marks one year since the assassination attempt on Trump in Butler (Pennsylvania, USA).
Chelsea and PSG are fighting for the title of the first FIFA Club World Cup in its new format, at MetLife Stadium, which will also host the World Cup final next year.
