Wembley and the renovated Camp Nou compete to host the 2029 edition
UEFA confirmed this Friday that the German city of Munich will host the 2028 Champions League final. Bayern Munich's stadium, the Allianz Arena, was the only bid submitted for that year, consolidating its position as one of the most modern and iconic venues in European football.

The announcement rules out, at least until 2030, the possibility of a final being played outside the continent, in New York, as had been speculated in recent months.
