It is being said that as soon as the attacker pointed the pistol at the Vice President, the security personnel present there pushed him back, due to which he narrowly escaped. The attacker was immediately arrested by the security personnel. According to the information so far, the attacker is said to be of Brazilian origin. The country's Finance Minister Sergio Massa has called the incident an attempt to murder.
