CBP reports the most secure border in history in June
CBP published its June report and highlighted that no undocumented immigrants who crossed the U.S. southern border were released.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released final June 2025 operational statistics on Tuesday, reflecting what it called historic performance across the agency's core security and border enforcement missions.
From closing illegal crossings to seizing fentanyl and enforcing multi-million dollar tariffs, CBP is getting results on every front. Under this administration, we are protecting this country with a relentless focus, and the numbers prove it, CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott said in a press release.
According to the CBP report, undocumented immigrant border crossings in June fell to the lowest level on record.
Drug Interdictions
In June, CBP seized 340 kilos of fentanyl, a 3% increase over May. Overall, seizures of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana increased 13% nationwide compared to the previous month.
